This edition Williams’ Zodiac Suite is based on the manuscripts related to the Town Hall December 30, 1945 performance. Due to financial difficulties and lack of rehearsal time, the music that was performed that afternoon did not fulfill Williams’ ambition.

This edition proposes a text that is free of errors and approximations, practical from a performer’s perspective, and true to the composer’s vision. Also included are variants as well as transcribed solos from the Town Hall recording.
